PowerPoint for Presentations
I believe that a presentation is all about communicating your knowledge to an audience. An audience could be one person or many people, either way they are there to listen to what you have to say. The audience is not there to watch a PowerPoint they are there to listen.
PowerPoint presentations should be there to help your audience remember what you have told them not to replace your job as a presenter.
Therefore learning when to use the features of PowerPoint is just as important as learning how to use the features.

Practice makes Perfect.
There is always something new to learn when using Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets. It is such a vast program and we often focus on the job in hand and do not even realise that there are more functions and features we can use.
Attending a one day course is a good way to get away from the working environment and just focus on learning. Of course the important thing after the course is to put into practice the new things you have learnt. Practice make Perfect or at least helps you remember.
